This project involved a complete transformation of an existing kitchen into a modern, open and highly functional living space. As part of our kitchen renovation services, we managed every stage of the build, from structural alterations through to the final kitchen installation.
The first stage of the project was a full knock-through to open up the layout and create a much larger, brighter space. Internal walls were removed to improve flow and usability, which is typical of our full renovation projects where homes are reconfigured to better suit modern living.
All walls throughout the kitchen were reboarded and professionally plastered, along with a full ceiling reboard and skim. This ensured a smooth, high-quality finish ready for decorating and installation. A full electrical rewire was also carried out to support the new layout, updated lighting and modern appliances, alongside the installation of a brand-new central heating system to improve comfort and efficiency.
To maximise natural light and create a strong connection to the outside, the existing window was removed and knocked through to form a new opening for bifold doors. This completely changed the feel of the space, allowing light to flood in and giving the kitchen a clean, contemporary look.
The flooring was finished with a high-quality glue-down LVT, chosen for its durability, low maintenance and modern appearance. We regularly install LVT and tiled flooring as part of our tiling and flooring services, ensuring a practical finish that works for everyday use.
The project was completed with a full kitchen installation, carefully fitted to suit the new layout and designed to balance style with functionality. Every detail was considered to ensure the space works as well as it looks.
The end result is a fully modernised kitchen that feels open, bright and built for long-term use, delivered as a complete, end-to-end renovation.
